My First VLOG
What did I get myself into?
That’s what I was thinking around 4:00pm when we still had hours of work left and hadn’t even thought about stopping to eat. All I can say is thank goodness for Trimstix and Collagen. I’ve never drank three in one day but if there was ever a day it was needed, this was the day.
Ya know, some people can’t imagine working day in and day out with their spouse and I can’t imagine working in separate directions. I’m not saying we want to be side by side everyday but at least in the same vicinity. There’s a reason we have separate home offices and his is in the farthest corner of the house.
JE Cattle Company is a one man show and with the spring rodeo run being one of the busiest times of the year, I volunteered my services. Thankful to be self employed and have the choice to help him when I can…or want. 😉
We’re headed back over to sort steers as I type….I’m tired, my eyes burn from the dirt field they collected yesterday, and my toes hurt not from all the walking, but because my toe nails are too long and hit the end of my shoes.(Can anyone relate?) And I could’ve stayed home, JE actually told me too, but there’s not a chance.
We get one shot at this life and I want to spend it with the people I love most. I want to spend it knowing I did all I could do to help someone else build their legacy and live out their dreams.
